Fare Rules

  • Fully inclusive Return Fares from Johannesburg to Accra, Cape Town, Harare, Kinshasa*, Lagos or Lusaka;
  • Sales period until the 31 May 2022;
  • *Travel period is until 30 June 2022 except for Kinshasa, travel is from 1 June- 30 June 2022;
  • All fares are subject to availability and change due to currency fluctuations; and
  • South African Airways reserves the right to change and/or discontinue these special fares and conditions without prior notice

Business class

  • Cancellations are charged at 25%
  • No-show fee is USD150 to Johannesburg from Accra, Harare, Kinshasa, Lagos or Lusaka;
  • No-show fee is R2000 from Johannesburg to Accra, Harare, Kinshasa, Lagos or Lusaka;
  • Domestic tickets between Johannesburg and Cape Town or between Johannesburg and Durban has a no-show charge of R500

Economy class

  • Cancellation – Non-refundable
  • No-show fee is USD100 to Johannesburg from Accra, Harare, Kinshasa, Lagos or Lusaka;
  •  No-show fee of R1000 from Johannesburg to Accra, Harare, Kinshasa, Lagos or Lusaka;
  • Domestic tickets between Johannesburg and Cape Town or between Johannesburg and Durban has a no show fee of R1000
