SAA submits Long-term Turnaround Strategy

Retraction of the media statement of the suspension of the chief commercial officer

JOHANNESBURG. 20 November 2015. South African Airways (SAA) retracts its earlier media statement on the suspension of its Chief Commercial Officer, Mr Sylvain Bosc, which the airline issued prematurely.
SAA has suspended Mr Bosc as a result of serious allegations relating to an alleged misrepresentation made by him to the Board in respect of the Abu Dhabi route and an investigation by ENS Forensics into such allegations.
Mr Bosc is yet to receive notification of the disciplinary enquiry and formal complaints arising from such suspension. The decision as to whether Mr Bosc is guilty of such alleged misconduct will be taken by the chairperson of the disciplinary enquiry. To the extent that the media release may suggest that Mr Bosc has been found guilty of any misconduct or impropriety it is sincerely regretted and no impairment to Mr Bosc’s identity was sought or intended.
