South African Airways reserves the right to, at any time, change and/or discontinue these special fares and conditions without prior notice. Subject to same seat availability. *Any unused regulated taxes are refundable. The above fares are excluding taxes. The special fare is available on all SAA operated flights.This special fare is not available on the following flight series 1000-8999. ( i.e. SA Express, Mango and Airlink). There is a service fee for new booking made via our Call Centre and Airport offices. .      

Fare Rules

  • Return Fares from Windhoek: 

    Johannesburg/ Cape Town: Sales period: Open. Travel period: Open. Changes:  Anytime charge NAD 450 per transaction. Changes thereafter will be at a cost NAD 450 plus the difference in fare. Cancellation: Non- refundable. No Show: Charge NAD 1000. Changes thereafter will be at a cost of the Change fee, No Show fee as well as the difference in fare. Standby: Not permitted.

    Durban/ Port Elizabeth: Sales period: Open. Travel period: Open. Changes: NAD 450 per transaction. Changes thereafter will be at a cost of the NAD 450 plus the difference in fare. Cancellation: Non- refundable. No Show:  Anytime charge NAD 1000. Changes thereafter will be at a cost of Change fee, No-Show fee as well as the difference in fare. Standby: Not permitted.

    Frankfurt: Sales period: Open. Travel period: Open. Minimum Stay: No earlier than 2 days after departure from first flight. Maximum Stay: No later than 4 months after departure from first flight. Changes:  Anytime charge NAD 1500 per transaction.  Changes thereafter will be at a cost of the NAD 1500 plus the difference in fare. Cancellation: 50% cancellation fee before departure. The ticket is non-refundable after departure. No Show:  Charge NAD 1950. Changes thereafter will be at a cost of the Change fee, No Show fee as well as the difference in fare. Standby: Not permitted.

    Perth: Sales period: Open. Travel period: Open Changes: Charge NAD 1700 per transaction. Upgrade permitted to the next higher fare or cabin at a charge of  NAD 1700 plus the difference in fare. Cancellation: Non-refundable. No Show: Charge NAD 1950 for No-Show. Changes thereafter will be at a cost of the No- Show fee, Change fee plus the difference in fare. Standby:  Not permitted.

    London: Sales period: Open. Travel period: Open. Changes:  Charge NAD 1700 per transaction. The change fee applies per transaction. Upgrade permitted to the next higher fare or cabin at a charge of NAD 1700 plus the difference in fare. Cancellation: Non-refundable. No Show:  Charge NAD 1500 for No- Show. Changes thereafter will be at a charge of the No- Show fee, Change fee plus the difference in fare. Standby:  Not permitted.

    New York: Sales period: Open. Travel period: Open. Minimum stay: Travel must commence no earlier than 2 days after departure of the first international flight. Maximum stay: Travel must commence no later the 4 months after departure of the first international flight. Changes: Charge NAD 1500 per transaction. Upgrade permitted to the next higher fare or cabin at a charge of NAD 1500 plus the difference in fare. Cancellation: 50% cancellation fee before departure. The ticket is non-refundable after departure. No- Show: Charge NAD 1950 for No- Show. Changes thereafter will be at a charge of the No-Show fee, Change fee plus the difference in fare. Standby:  Not permitted.
