SIOP is a global organisation that brings together healthcare professionals, researchers and other stakeholders involved in the care of children and adolescents with cancer. SIOP Africa is the African continental branch of the International Society of Paediatric Oncology. They represent all African professionals in the field of paediatric oncology and have over 500 members.

SIOP Africa organises congress, workshops, and educational programmes to promote best practices in paediatric oncology, facilitate knowledge exchange and support the development of local expertise. It aims to collaborate with governments, non-profit organizations, and healthcare institutions to advocate for improved policies and resources to enhance paediatric cancer care across the continent.
