SAA's
FIRST FLIGHT TO ABU DHABI

SAA
has spread its wings once more with its first flight, SA 278, to Abu
Dhabi which departed on Sunday morning, 29 March 2015 at 09h30 and
arrived at 20h25 local time in Abu Dhabi. Both SAA and Etihad
Airways now offer a daily service to Abu Dhabi.

Business
and leisure travellers will benefit from the convenience of multiple
flight
options between Johannesburg and Abu Dhabi within the same day. More
than 1 000
connections are offered each week via Etihad Airways' Abu Dhabi hub to
a range
of destinations including the Gulf Cooperation Council region, Middle
East,
Indian subcontinent, and North and South East Asia, including China.
The airlines have also significantly expanded their codeshare agreement
to
include 51 routes, more than double the previous number. Etihad Airways
will
also place its 'EY' code on SAA's new Johannesburg - Abu Dhabi flights.
In
return, SAA will place its 'SA' code on 35 Etihad Airways routes beyond
Abu
Dhabi to a range of destinations worldwide.
The new Abu Dhabi service is operated by an Airbus A330-200 aircraft,
configured to carry 36 passengers in Business Class and 186 in Economy
Class.
Another destination, another milestone in the journey of SAA.

Voyager makes spending your Miles easier with Dynamic Awards.
SAA Dynamic Awards are inclusive of fuel levy and applicable on
SAA-operated
flights only. This means that you, our valued members, are able to get
an
immediate confirmed seat when spending your SAA Voyager Miles on any
SAA-operated flights.
When booking
these
Awards, please take note of the following:
• Award tickets are refundable subject to the original fare rules;
• Reversal and reinstatement of Miles will be permitted if the Miles
are within
the Voyager Mileage validity; and
• Expired Miles will not be reinstated.
Important notes
about
Upgrade Awards:
Upgrade Awards
are on a one-way basis and issued per sector.
For example:
When you travel from Durban to Johannesburg (sector 1), Johannesburg to
London
(sector 2), London to Johannesburg (sector 3) and Johannesburg to
Durban
(sector 4), Four (4) Awards will need to be issued, if you want to
upgrade on
the entire route.
EARNING MILES
When flying on an SAA-operated flight, you will earn Miles based on
fare and
fuel levy paid. For every ZAR1.60 spent, 1 Mile is earned. However,
when flying
on any of our Star Alliance and non-Star Alliance airline partner
flights, you
earn Miles based on the distance travelled.
SAA Voyager members are encouraged to retain their boarding passes and
electronic ticket copies until the Miles reflect on their latest
statement.
Kindly allow at least 15 days for Miles to be credited into your
account.
