South African Airways would like to notify its
customers that the airline has taken a decision to
cease
operating between Johannesburg and Abu Dhabi from 1 March 2016. The
decision
follows extensive analysis and efforts to make the route sustainable.
From 1 to 21 March 2016, South
African Airways will reroute
its flights from Douala International Airport in Cameroon to Yaoundé,
due to the closure of the airport in Douala for reconstruction work.
South African
Airways advises customers travelling on domestic routes that
selected flights on these routes will close 10 minutes earlier, as from
1 April 2016.
SAA domestic flights for check-in will from the effective date, close
40 minutes prior to boarding in lieu of 30 minutes for domestic
departures from
Johannesburg to Durban, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth and East London.

Airlink
is pleased to announce the re-introduction of air-services between
Johannesburg
and Nosy Be commencing Sunday 20 March 2016.
|
|
|
Flights
will operate weekly with a single return flight on Sundays. The flight
will
depart on Sundays at 09h30 from Johannesburg (ORTIA) and arrive at Nosy
Be at
14h00 (Malagasy time). The return flight will depart Nosy Be at 14h45
and
arrive in Johannesburg (ORTIA) at 18h45 SA Time. Due to the flight
duration and
prevailing headwinds the aircraft will perform an en-route technical
fuel-stop
in Vilanculos - Mozambique on route from Nosy Be to Johannesburg
(ORTIA) to refuel.
This
new direct flight will provide ease of access for South African
travellers and
travellers throughout the world making use of Johannesburg (ORTIA)
connectivity.
Voyager Members will be able to earn and redeem Miles on this route.

ensure that the information captured when issuing Awards is
