The festive season is upon us! It is unbelievable how fast the year has
flown. Now it's time to take a break, unwind, spend some time with
family,
and reflect on 2015.
We've been working hard to make sure that your holidays are going to be

South
African Airways celebrates 20 years of flying to Tanzania
South African Airways, the leading carrier on the African continent,
proudly celebrates twenty years of flying between Johannesburg and Dar
Es Salaam, Tanzania. SAA introduced flights to this East African
country on 25 October 1995. The route has since grown from three
flights per week to the current offering of two daily flights between
the two African cities.

New
Domestic Terminal in Perth opened on 22 November 2015
All Virgin Australia flights that previously operated from terminal 3
(T3) will now depart from terminal 1 (T1) Domestic. Regional, domestic
and international Virgin
Australia flights are now located together at terminals 1 and 2 (T1 and
T2). Connecting flights are only a short distance apart making
transfers seamless. Flight departures by terminal are outlined below:
T1 Domestic:
VA0200 – VA1899, VA2000 – VA2499
T1
International: VA0050 – VA0199, VA1900 – VA1999
T2:
VA2500 – VA2999, VA9020 – VA9499

Alliance Award Chart Update
Kindly be reminded that the mileage adjustment changes made to the Star

Status
Year end is upon us, and we wish to remind you to use this opportunity
to secure Voyager elite tier status. Please ensure that
all your flights have tracked and the Miles have been credited.
Congratulations to all our members who have achieved a higher tier or
retained their current elite tier status.

Mileage
Expiry
There are three months left prior to mileage expiry on 31 March
2016. To avoid miles expiring, ensure that you have earned at least 6
000 SAA Tier Miles by 31 December 2015.

Checklist
of Travel Requirements:
Proof
of Identification:
Passengers are required to present an ID, South African driver’s
license,
passport and/or birth certificate (for minors) as proof of
identification. The same
documentation must be presented at the boarding gates.
International
Travel Documents:
Prior to check-in, profiling of passengers for immigration
purposes may be necessary. This process may require you to provide
proof of confirmed accommodation, sufficient funds and valid return or
onward travel bookings.
Check-in
Times
Domestic
flights:
Passengers are required to check-in at least 90 minutes before flight
departure.
International
flights:
Check-in at least 2 hours before flight departure irrespective of
travel class, except for USA flights where check-in must be done at
least 3 hours before departure.

Reach
For A Dream foundation continues to make a difference in the lives of
many children with
life-threatening illnesses, and we would like to thank all SAA Voyager
members for opening their hearts and heeding the call of making dreams
possible.
Devan, 12, lives in a small farming town in the Eastern Cape, called
Patensie. Increasingly, his condition is limiting his mobility making
him feel confined to his small part of the world.

Devan’s
big dream was to visit Cape Town and explore the Mother city in all her
majesty. He had often heard about how beautiful the city is and wanted
