    Here are the qualifying criteria for each Tier status per calendar year

    25 000 Miles - Silver status

    50 000 Miles - Gold status

    100 000 Miles - Platinum status

    100 000 Miles - on the services of SAA only for a period of 6 consecutive years = Lifetime Platinum status

    Shenzhen Airlines joined the Voyager programme and Star Alliance on 29 November 2012. Voyager members can earn and redeem miles on Shenzhen Airlines.

    Introducing an additional benefit for Voyager Gold, Platinum and Lifetime Platinum Frequent travellers to Hong Kong

    Voyager Lifetime Platinum, Platinum and Gold Tier members are now eligible to enrol for the Frequent Visitor (FV) e-Channel services. No more queuing at immigration desks as you will be entitled to use the e-channel dedicated desks after enrolment.


    You are eligible for the FV e-Channels if you are:

    � 18 years or above in age

    � In possession of valid travel document

    � In possession of a multiple-visit visa for Hong Kong (if a visit visa is required)

    However, travellers with the following documentation are excluded from enrolment:

    � An exit-entry permit for travelling to and from Hong Kong and Macao

    � People's Republic of China passport

    � Macao Special Administrative region passport, without a multiple-visit entry permit (visa) for HKSAR


    How to enrol?

    � Eligible members are required to enrol for the FV e-Channel facilities at the enrolment booths located at the Arrival Halls in the airport before they can use the FV e-Channels

    � To enrol, eligible members are required to present their valid South African Airways Voyager Lifetime Platinum, Platinum or Gold membership card, valid travel document and multiple-visit visa for Hong Kong (if a visit visa is so required)

    � Shortly after the successful enrolment, you may use the FV e-Channels in Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA), Lo Wu, Lok Ma Chau Spur Line, Shenzhen Bay, Macau Ferry Terminal and China Ferry Terminal for arrival and departure clearance, each time you arrive or depart from Hong Kong

    Existing FV e-Channel users are not required to enrol again, unless there is a change to your personal information especially upon renewal or replacement of your travel document. In these cases, you are required to approach the enrolment booths at the airport for re-registration before using the FV e-Channel.

    There are two Enrolment Booths (after immigration counters at both South and North Halls) at the Arrival Level of the HKIA. Opening hours of the booths are as follows:

    � Booth at the South Arrival Hall: 07:30 to 23:00

    � Booth at the North Arrival Hall: 10:00 to 18:00

    Voyager Credit Card information

    The SAA Voyager credit card annual increase in banking fees takes effect on 1 January each year. Since the inception of the card, we had to marginally increase your SAA Voyager credit card membership fees which is in line with the current inflation rate, to ensure we continue to offer you enhanced benefits such as lifting the class restrictions on the complimentary Companion ticket.

    NB. From 2012 and beyond spending on your Voyager credit card will no longer count towards non-expiry of your miles, but you can save your miles by flying 5 000 or 3 000 Tier Miles on either SAA or SA Express respectively in a calendar year.
