Effective 1 February 2016, SAA Voyager members are able to earn Voyager Miles with the Marriot Hotel Group.
Members will earn Miles per USD spent, and not a set amount of Marriott Rewards points. Members will also be able to convert Marriott Rewards points to SAA Voyager Miles. Marriott owns and manages over 16 hospitality brands globally with over 4 000 properties.
In April 2014, Marriott concluded the 116 Protea Hotel Hospitality Group takeover in South Africa.
