Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park: High-octane excitement
Home to one half of awesome Victoria Falls, Zambia’s smallest national park is a thrilling place to explore. The walking trails include a network of paths through thick vegetation, leading to cliffs where you can watch the surging Zambezi waters. If you’re feeling intrepid, cross the Knife-Edge Bridge and take the steep path down to the Boiling Pot, where water from one gorge thunders into another.
The park teems with antelope, zebra, giraffe, elephants, white rhino, wildebeest and buffalo. And there’s more than one way to see it all: thrill-seekers can try bungee jumping, abseiling, rafting or helicopter safaris over the Zambezi.
You can also get a glimpse of rural African life and culture with a visit to the Mukuni Traditional Village. And after each exciting day, rest your head in one of the comfy camps or splash out on a stay at the award-winning Sun International Royal Livingstone Hotel.
