Retrieve and Pay for an existing reservation

Now you can pay for your bookings with payment option- 72 hours – using your LODGED CARD, AS FORM OF PAYMENT . (Lodged Card- credit card which SAA loads onto the companies profile –the card is pre Authenticated, therefore the card will not have to be present upon check in )

  • this service is only available for reservations made through On Business
  • if you want to do a part payment for only selected passengers in a reservation, please contact your nearest call centre

Change My Reservation

Want to rebook your flight? - using your LODGED CARD, IF THIS WAS YOUR ORIGINAL FORM OF PAYMENT

Please note :

  • this service is only available if you are holding an electronic ticket for a domestic flight on a point to point connection
  • your ticket must be booked via On Business
  • only reservations where no travel has commenced yet can be changed
  • for changes on paper tickets or international electronic tickets, please contact your nearest call centre.
  • changes are possible subject to availability on your desired flight, upgrading and rebooking fees might apply
  • changing the itinerary of one passenger in a reservation of multiple passengers must be done via your nearest call centre

Cancel My Reservation

Please note, this facility is applicable for E-tickets only.

Note:

  • Refunds will be processed in accordance with the fare ruling on your ticket.
  • All Refunds are subject to an Administration Fee. Tickets are refundable for two years from date of purchase.
  • Administration Fees for cancellations for flight bookings departing from South Africa An Administration Fee of R285 will be charged per passenger in addition to any applicable cancellation or rebooking fee. Administration Fees for cancellations for flight bookings departing from Europe For all flight bookings made via flysaa.com , a Cancellation Administration Fee of EUR 30,-/CHF 50,-/USD 42,-/DKK 225/SEK 280/NOK 235 (depending on the currency used to pay for your ticket) will be charged per passenger in addition to any applicable cancellation or rebooking fee.Australia charges administration fee of AUD 50 for refund, rebooking, reissue and it is non - refundable. South America An administration fee of USD25 will be charged per passenger in addition to any applicable cancellation fee // In case of dates or itinerary changes, a fee of USD20 will be charged per passenger in addition to any fare difference or/and rebooking fee, according to the applicable fare rule.  Please contact our Call Centre, for further assistance on refunds

Request for Tax invoice

After requesting your Tax Invoice online , a PDF document will be e-mailed to you within 72 Hours , to the e-mail address provided.

If a Tax Invoice has been successfully generated from the South African Airways Tax Invoice System, the onus rests on the recipient to ensure that his/her mailbox has enough space to receive an e-mail - with a PDF attachment; and that his/her service provider or exchange server allows for delivery of such e-mails. South African Airways, can not take responsibility for undelivered e-mails due to any other reasons beyond our control including the above. You can now request your tax invoice and print it immediately.

Select Seat/Meal

  • Pre-seating is not allowed on flights where you have booked Q,V,L class.
  • Seat selection is not guaranteed.
  • Seat selection is dependant on aircraft configuration and timeous passenger check-in.
  • Exit rows may not be occupied by children under 12years old, infirm or disabled or elderly passengers.
  • Front row seats are reserved for Voyager Elite customers (Platinum, Gold and Silver).
  • Upper deck - no wheelchair passengers, disabled, infirm or elderly passengers.
  • Dietary requirements must be ordered at least 3 days (72 hours) before departure.

Upgrade Using Miles

This process allows Voyager members to retrieve their bookings via our website; select a one way or return Upgrade, then choose the sector(s) to be upgraded, the system will do the eligible class validations for an upgrade for the selected sector(s), check availability of Business Class, rebook confirmed seats on the selected flights in Business class and do an electronic issue-in-exchange for E-ticketable routes. For any additional amounts required on the airport taxes, only credit card payments can be processed.
An ‘Offline collection’ option for non E-ticketable routes is also available at no charge to members
