South African Airways (SAA) reinstates flights to Blantyre, Malawi


JOHANNESBURG. 26 March 2014. South African Airways (SAA) has reinstated flights to Blantyre, Malawi following the closure of the airport in Blantyre, Malawi, due to urgent runway repairs and maintenance.
 
SAA will be resuming three flights per week, of which one is operated on a supplementary basis, between Johannesburg and Blantyre from today, as per the normal schedule.
 
Flight schedule
SA172 departs on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10:00 from Johannesburg to arrive in Blantyre at 12:10
SA173 returns the same days at 13:05 to arrive at 15:20 in Johannesburg.
SA3172 departs on Mondays at 10:00 from Johannesburg to arrive in Blantyre at 12:10
SA3173 departs again at 13:05 to arrive in Johannesburg at 15:20
