Our Services

SAA Cargo moves general cargo, perishables, courier, express and mail globally. We transport livestock, human remains, dangerous goods, and vulnerable and valuable cargo as part of our special services. We also offer an ad hoc charter service for more urgent deliveries.
SAA Cargo, through its facilities in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban, offers cargo handling services to foreign airlines.

Our Service Network
SAA Cargo’s committed network spans South Africa, Africa and the world. Our domestic destinations are Johannesburg, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, Durban, East London, George and Bloemfontein. By partnering with feeder airlines and trucking companies we are also able to service areas such as Richards Bay, Kimberley and the surrounding areas.

Regionally, SAA Cargo leverages the passenger network in accessing markets such as Lagos, Accra, Lusaka, Entebbe, Kinshasa, Harare, Luanda, Maputo and Nairobi. A dedicated freighter schedule is also used to provide seamless connectivity for unitised consignments.

SAA Cargo is represented in 12 countries in Asia-Pacific with direct passenger flights to Mumbai, Hong Kong and Perth.  The rest of the region is serviced through interline agreements with other carriers.

In Europe, the markets include Germany, Italy, France, Switzerland, the UK, Ireland, Spain, Eastern Europe and Nordic countries, while the North and South American markets include Argentina, Brazil, Mexico and the USA.
